Opening the season at Pavlov will be the legendary Rein de Graaff trio, Holland’s longest running piano trio. Pianist de Graaff won the Boy Edgar Award and in 1980, and in 1986 he won the Bird Award at the North Sea Jazz Festival. His trio features two of the most swinging and accomplished musicians Holland ever produced, Marius Beets on bass, and Eric Ineke, drums. Together the band has accompanied a steady stream of the world class soloists. Joining them will be the great swinging tenor saxophonist Sjoerd Dijkhuizen, and Dan Nicholas on guitar.
