Trumpeter Gidon Nunes Vas is a major new voice in Dutch jazz, a pure toned, deeply rooted and confident jazz stylist, with chops, imagination, and serious taste. Additionally, he is a skilled composer, arranger and bandleader. All of these factors combined have landed him a seat in the country’s premier hard bob ensemble, the Eric Ineke Jazz Express.
