Tenor Saxophonist Fernando Sanchez is a leader in a wave of execptional musicians who moved to Amsterdam from Spain in the past years, bringing great creativity, musicality and artistry to the jazz scene in the Netherlands. Much admired and in demand as a sideman, Sanchez has finally assembled his own quintet featuring some of the best young musicians in the Netherlands. With the young trumpet star Ian Cleaver, Miguel Rodriguez, piano, Cas Jiskoot, bass, and Roberto Pistolesi, drums.
